Disclosures
Who we are, what we lend, what it costs, what we check, and how to complain. In one place, in plain English.
This page collects the disclosures we think any business should be able to read before applying. It is general information about our lending, not an offer of finance and not advice. The terms that apply to your facility are the ones set out in your loan documents.
Who you’re dealing with
GreyRok Capital is the lender, not a broker or marketplace. Every facility is written by our own entity, from our own capital facility, and every credit decision is ours.

The amount we offer is sized around your trading history and capacity to repay, and may be less than the amount you request. We would rather write a smaller facility that gets repaid than a larger one that strains the account.
Business-purpose lending only
Our loans are provided for business purposes only. They are not regulated by the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (Cth) and are not available for personal, domestic or household purposes. Consumer credit protections under that Act — including responsible lending obligations and consumer hardship provisions — do not apply.
Before settlement you sign a declaration confirming the purpose of the finance. See the Business Purpose Declaration for the wording and what it means.
Fees and costs
Every fee that can apply to your facility is itemised in your offer, in dollars, before you sign anything. We do not charge to check eligibility or to submit an application.
Checking eligibility costs nothing and does not affect your credit file.
A one-off fee for setting up the facility, quoted as a dollar amount and included in your total cost of finance.
Your total repayable amount and the fixed repayment figure are set before settlement and do not change over the term.
Charged where a scheduled direct debit is returned unpaid. Tell us early if a debit will not clear and we will work with you instead.
Where we have to enforce the loan or a security, reasonable costs we incur may be recoverable under your loan agreement.
Whether repaying early reduces your total cost depends on how your facility is priced. We will tell you the position for your facility in writing.
Fee amounts are not published here because they vary with facility size and structure. Your offer is the disclosure that matters — if a figure in it is unclear, ask before signing.
How we assess and price
A person reads every application. Our credit team looks at trading history, revenue regularity, account conduct, existing commitments, and whether the purpose fits the term. An internal scoring system ranks applications to assist that assessment, but it does not make the decision — approvals and declines are made by our credit staff.
We verify bank statements by PDF. We do not connect to your online banking and we never ask for banking logins or passwords.
Credit reporting
Checking eligibility on this site does not touch your credit file. Later in the process, and with your consent recorded in the application, we may obtain credit reports about directors, guarantors and sole traders, and commercial credit reports about the borrower entity.
The credit reporting bodies and commercial bureaus we use, what we may disclose to them, and how to obtain or correct your credit report are set out in the Credit Reporting section of our Privacy Policy.
Identity and AML/CTF checks
As a reporting entity under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth), we are required to identify and verify our customers, their directors and beneficial owners, and to conduct ongoing due diligence including sanctions, politically exposed person and adverse media screening.
These checks are carried out through our verification provider and are described in the AML/CTF section of our Privacy Policy. We may be required to report certain matters to AUSTRAC, and we are not always permitted to tell you when we do.
Security and guarantees
Facilities may be secured or unsecured depending on the size and structure of the loan. Where security is taken it is described in your offer, and may include a general security agreement over business assets and registration on the Personal Property Securities Register.
We commonly require a director’s guarantee. If you give a guarantee you are personally responsible for the borrower’s obligations if the borrower does not pay. Read the guarantee before signing, and get your own advice if anything in it is unclear.
Repayments and direct debits
Repayments are fixed and taken by direct debit from your nominated business account on a weekly or fortnightly schedule agreed before settlement. You will receive the schedule and the direct debit request service agreement with your loan documents.
Keep enough in the account to cover each debit. If a debit is likely to fail, tell us before the due date — it is a much easier conversation than the one after a dishonour.
If you’re struggling to repay
Business-purpose facilities do not carry the statutory hardship rights that apply to consumer credit. That does not mean we are unreachable. If your circumstances change, contact us early — we will look at what is possible for your facility, in writing, case by case.
Free, independent support for small business is also available through the Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman and your state small business commissioner.
Brokers and referrers
We accept applications from accredited brokers and referral partners, and we may pay a commission on a settled facility. Where a broker introduced you, the commission is disclosed in your offer. A broker’s involvement does not change our credit criteria or the price we quote.
Brokers acting for a client should read our broker page for accreditation and submission requirements.
